Submission Process

We post every Monday on Instagram for the following week’s events. To be included in our Instagram weekly events posts, please send us a square image of your event that includes the date, time, and place before EOD Saturday the week before your event. Please also include your business Instagram handle so we can tag you!
We send out our monthly newsletters every 3rd Friday of the month. The newsletters list events, classes, and workshops that happen or start (depending on if it’s a one time event or a series) before the end of the next month. Please submit your event, workshop, or class before EOD on the 17th of every month. Please include the name of your event, description, time, date, price, and your business name & website.
If you want to be featured on the website for your weekly event, please submit a graphic with date, cost, and location. Additional detail would be helpful for context setting. Please send to @discoverakin on Instagram and TikTok!

Any event where your attendees are learning a new creative skill. These can be one time classes or class series.
One-time, no commitment events where your attendees are participating in creative activities together.
Events: One-time gatherings of people intended to build community through creative learning, exploring, or thinking.
